Puppy Chow Bars

Each person’s favourite birthday celebration snack (puppy chow) made into domestic dog chow bars! Take the classic muddy buddies and turn them into a no bake dessert bar via adding marshmallows – those muddy pals bars are like a combination between doggy chow and rice krispie treats!

Ingredients

  •  7 cups chex cereal
  •  4 tbsp unsalted butter
  •  2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  •  1 cup creamy peanut butter
  •  1 bag mini marshmallows, 10 oz
  •  1 cup powdered sugar (or more as needed)

  1. measure out 7 cups of chex cereal in a large blending bowl. Set aside.
  2. In medium sized microwave safe blending bowl, integrate the chocolate chips and butter. Microwave on 50% electricity at 1 minute durations, stirring till melted.
